We discovered Swim Socks when our daughter was one and had just started walking. We were at our friend 'Aunty' Shannon's place for a bbq and the kids were playing on the slip and slide. With Elsie's sensitive pudgy little feet she was struggling to walk across the sticks and leaves that had fallen from a gum tree into the back yard. She desperately wanted to play but kept asking to hop up.

Aunty Shannon came to the rescue and gave us a pair of swim socks. Elsie had the best time playing in the water with the big kids while her feet stayed protected. From then on we kept finding we needed the swim socks.

Elsie loved going in the shower but would slip over on the wet tiles. We put her in the Swim Socks and she never slipped in the shower again.

We went to the local water park, the grass was full of bindiis and the concrete was unbearably hot, we put Elsie in her Swim Socks and it was no longer a problem, we all wished we had a pair.

On a hot day we stopped for a swim in the river, the river bed was full of rocks and it hurt to walk across, again Elsie had her Swim Socks and with her feet protected she could enjoy the water.

We meet family at an indoor swimming pool, the tiles around the pool and the slide area were very slippery, Elsie had her Swim Socks on and was safe from slipping over as she racing around the splash park.

Eventually she outgrew her Swim Socks from Aunty Shannon and we needed more but they weren't available in Australia.

We took on the mission to make Swim Socks readily accessible to all Australians and Swim Socks was born.
